“I tell you, Watson, in all seriousness, that if I could beat that man, if I could free society of him, I should feel that my own career had reached its summit, and I should be prepared to turn to some more placid line in life.”- Sherlock Holmes, “The Adventure of The Final Problem”.

It was late April, even though the air did not hint that spring was coming. Ozzie, and his best buddy, Wiggins, were across 221B Baker Street, singing a tune, and hoping that strollers would spare a pence, or two. It has been weeks since Master beckoned them for a case, and they were running out of money. Whilst they sang, a cart pulled by two horses stopped in front of 221B Baker Street and out came a man they knew well, with his domed forehead, sunken face, deep repitilian eyes, and a snakelike smile, none other than the Professor James Moriarty. He came to deliver a message, mainly implying that he had enough of the Master’s interference and was threatening Master. A few minutes later, an attempt on Master’s life was made. Oz and Wiggins quickly blocked it, saving Master’s life. The man who attempted to kill Holmes was Colonel Moran, the second most dangerous man in London. Holmes invited the boys to come in and told the boys that the Irregulars must leave London because their lives are in danger.
Back home at the castle, one of them, Rohan smelled something burning for the fireplace. Someone was trying to kill them! But they noticed it early, and no one was hurt, only they didn’t have a house anymore.
After another attempt on the Master’s life, he decided that it is best for the Irregulars to stop following him because it would cause them danger. That night, he brought the Irregulars to Watson’s to spend the night there. That morning, the Irregulars set off for a farm, to live there until further information, but Ozzie, Wiggins, and Pilar decided to follow Master.
On the Continental Express, the trio poked around suitcases, finding small clothes to fit them. After a while, they saw Moriarty and Moran exiting and went to a steamer, so they followed.
While the trio followed Moriarty, another trio, Rohan, Alfie, and Elliot followed the Master instead.
Ozzie, Wiggins, and Pilar went to a post office and delivered a fake telegram to the hotel that Moriarty stayed in so that they could stay in that hotel too. Ozzie snuck into Moriarty’s suite but got caught and was held hostage. Moriarty liked Ozzie and has offered Oz to work with him multiple times. Moriarty held a secret that he told Oz in the time being of his hostage. Moriarty had a child, and on the kid’s 5th birthday, his mother took him away, and never came back. Ozzie reminded him of his kid, therefore the strong attachment. Moriarty sent Ozzie to the Master, sending him a message, telling the Master to part ways and not to interfere in anything anymore.
Moriarty, Moran, and Ozzie arrived in Meiringen, and Moriarty disguised Ozzie as a Swiss lad, to bear a message to Watson, up in the falls, leaving Master alone so Moriarty can deal with the Master alone. Master knew behind the mask that the young lad was Ozzie, that wanted to stay with him, but he insisted Ozzie was to leave.
Knowing he had been tricked, Watson, alongside Pilar and Wiggins set off back to the falls, only to find two sets of big footprints and one small one. They didn’t need to question what had happened to the three, instead each one mourned in their own way, Wiggins sank to the mud and howled, Pilar wailed, her voice disappearing into the roaring falls, and Watson saluted and silently said “Holmes.”
EPILOGUE
After returning, the gang started to dissolve. Rohan was offered a position as a cabin boy, Elliot, Barnaby, and Shem stayed on the farm, Alfie and Wiggins returned to London, stayed with Pilar and Madam Estrella. After a while, Alfie went to the Thames, Pilar began busy studying, and Wiggins was invited to Mycroft’s.
Mycroft gave him a letter. It was from Osgood Manning, or Ozzie, only to him, a secret, a confidential matter he was not to tell anyone.
The letter explained everything. Before Pilar, Watson, and Wiggins reached the falls again, Master and Moriarty had a brawl that led one of them into mutual destruction. With a shrug of Master’s whole body, he wriggled out of the professor's grip, and with a big haul, he heaved Moriarty into the roaring abyss. After the fall of Moriarty, Master heaved Ozzie up a ledge and pulled himself after Oz. A few minutes later, Watson, Pilar, and Wiggins appeared, but the Master signed that he be quiet. Ozzie felt miserable watching his friends see their footprints, and made wrong conclusions that all three had fallen down the roaring abyss, and never to be seen again. He watched them as they miserably mourned for him and the Master, but he knew that Master had a plan from his firm grip. After Watson, Pilar, and Wiggins left, they climbed up the ledge further and the Master explained that there were going to be people avenging him for Moriarty’s death, so he and the Master must disappear. They traveled together every day, and whatever happened after that, Wiggins never knew.

After reading the letter, he thanked Mycroft and moved on with his life. Eventually, he became a great businessman. Even though time has passed, he remained close friend with Pilar, even when she moved to Madrid, and found out the truth. He will never forget the adventures he had with Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars.
